Dream Machine

HiFlow presents the immersive installation “Dream Machine Collective” by Barbara Carlotti, part of the DREAM UP exhibition featuring 23 artists and over 50 works. At the intersection of contemporary art, performance, and sensory exploration, this experience invites visitors on a journey into the heart of dream and creation.

Apocalypses. What Did You See in Hiroshima? is a powerful exhibition curated by Nicolas Crispini, exploring the devastation and legacy of the atomic bombings through testimonies, photographs, films, objects, and soundscapes. From survivor accounts to cultural echoes and traces of nuclear tests, it confronts the enduring threat of nuclear apocalypse and asks whether humanity has truly grasped the magnitude of Hiroshima.

11 September – 15 November

Anjesa Dellova’s work, Finding Words, Fighting Words, delves into the challenging journey of weaving a fragmented identity into a comprehensive narrative. Drawing inspiration from Albania’s intricate cultural history, the exhibition brings this complexity into the dynamic physicality of her paintings. The display is further enriched with an accompanying text by Paolo Baggi.

25 October – 16 November

Alexandre Joly and Daniel Zea showcase “Multiverse of a Birdcage” at Fonderie Kugler, an electro-acoustic installation featuring 17 hanging panels and 1,500 piezos, forming a hybrid acousmonium. The exhibition, enhanced by the works of 40 artists, includes four artist residencies, each culminating in a Saturday evening concert. Additionally, there will be a performance by Alexandre Joly and Daniel Zea during this period.

5 November – 20 December

Xippas Gallery in Geneva is hosting, for the first time, a solo exhibition dedicated to the Uruguayan artist José Gamarra. The anthological exhibition, Whispers in the Forest, spans fifty years of his work and presents an exceptional selection of paintings and drawings, curated by Manuel Neves

14 November – 4 January

Lovay Fine Arts presents Wings, an exhibition showcasing the latest works by Sem Lala.

The exhibition “Sauvages” at the Cité Library invites visitors to delve into the behind-the-scenes of Claude Barras’s film. It is divided into three sections that cover the ecological and cultural aspects of Borneo, reveal the creative and production processes of the film, and immerse the audience in the filming atmosphere through never-before-seen photos and testimonials. Original documents, drawings, travel journals, sets, and figurines enhance this immersive experience.
