“Débauche contre nature”

Léo Bulliard will present his book “Débauche contre nature. L’homosexualité devant la justice fribourgeoise entre 1900 et 1992” at the Bibliothèque de Genève. The book investigates the penalization of homosexual acts in Fribourg over nearly a century, drawing from judicial archives. It traces the journeys of those accused, from denunciation to sentencing, with particular focus on medical assessments starting in the 1940s. Léo Bulliard will engage in discussion with Cécile Boss, an assistant professor and member of Archives contestataires.
