Delphine Reist and Laurent Faulon transform Villa Bernasconi with an immersive exhibition that returns each room to its original function. Through object-based artworks, automatons, accumulations, and scale shifts, they craft an atmosphere of eeriness and unease. Faulon converts the villa into an ambiguous space, while Reist examines alienating work practices. Their works engage in a dialogue on private, social, and political themes. Organized by the Museum and the Geneva Library, this exhibition provides a deep dive into the Museum’s former home, showcasing images of the transfer of various specimens.

The Baur Foundation highlights the magnificent lacquers from the Virginia and Edward Chow donation with an exhibition at the museum. Showcasing twelve rare pieces from the Ming and Qing dynasties, the collection includes intricately decorated boxes, dishes, and other precious items adorned with engravings or mother-of-pearl inlays. The event kicks off with a lecture by Helen Loveday, who delves into the splendor of these Chinese treasures.

On the first Sunday of each month, the Musée Ariana offers free themed tours without any need for registration. Visitors can admire the museum’s masterpieces or delve into the evolution of stained glass from the 19th to the 21st century.

“Visible” is an exhibition curated by Danniel Tostes and Lari Medawar as part of the FMAC 2025 residency, spotlighting women, queer, racialized, disabled, and immigrant artists who are often underrepresented in art history. Engaging with the FMAC’s collection alongside invited Geneva artists, the exhibition offers new narratives, reimagining the future of artistic fields. It promotes intergenerational dialogue through works produced over the past 80 years and aims to amplify overlooked voices, presenting an inclusive and diverse perspective on contemporary Geneva art. Featuring artists include Omar Ba, Fabiana De Barros, Geraldo De Barros, Mariano Blatt and Eduardo Williams, Miriam Cahn, Edi Dubien, Renée Green, Chris Kauffmann, Stéphan Landry, eden levi am, Shahryar Nashat, Sima Naemi, Pipilotti Rist, Sabrina Renlund, Jonas Van & Juno B, and Gemma Ushengewe.

The Barbier-Mueller Museum presents “Échos,” an exhibition where photographer Jean-Baptiste Huynh explores the museum’s works through his artistic lens. This sensitive and aesthetic approach encourages reflection on universal themes such as birth, life, aging, and death.
