Temple de la Madeleine is a historic Protestant church and ecumenical cultural space in Geneva. It hosts concerts, exhibitions, community gatherings and guided visits to its archaeological site, and features notable contemporary stained glass. The venue serves as a centre for worship, cultural programming and intercultural encounters in the city’s historic quarter.
Conceived and performed by Myriam Sintado and directed by Pierre-Philippe Devaux, L’homme qui marche et autres marcheur·euse·s adapts Christian Bobin’s text into a poetic theatrical portrait of a counter‑current Christ. The production, by Cie. Avec des si… and presented with the Protestant Church of Geneva, weaves voices old and new to probe faith, freedom and forms of resistance. Sparse staging, intimate lighting and buoyant vocal passages create a contemplative, moving atmosphere that invites inward reflection and collective motion.

Led by conductor Dominique Tille, the Geneva Brass quintet joins forces with the all-female vocal ensemble Callirhoé in a programme that foregrounds the dialogue between voices and brass. The quintet acts as a “second choir”, extending vocal lines and expanding the ensemble’s sonic palette. Repertoire moves from luminous Bruckner passages to daring contemporary works, alternating lush harmonies and incisive brass colour. The result is an intimate yet powerful soundscape that highlights timbre, blend and expressive contrast.
