Directed by Vania Jaikin Miyazaki, Does Your Life Swing? is a short road‑movie musical that follows Pierre Omer’s band on tour through Europe, capturing concerts, travel and backstage moments. The screening is followed by a live set led by Pierre Omer, where swing, blues, garage and cabaret‑tinged atmospheres meet raw energy and theatricality. The band features Christoph Gantert (trumpet, vocals), Julien Israelian (drums, percussion), Géraldine Schenkel (organ) and fakir/dancer Lalla Morte.

In the footsteps of Oodaaq, a small wingless hero negotiates a tender, adventurous rite of passage. While the siblings take to the sky, Oodaaq chooses a terrestrial odyssey, crossing strange landscapes, meeting ambiguous companions and facing gentle trials that shape identity and resilience. The staging relies on poetic physicality and playful imagination to trace a child’s transformation and quest for belonging.
