Payot Genève Rive Gauche is a large four-storey bookstore in central Geneva offering over 100,000 French and international titles. The venue hosts author events and readings, and includes a Nature & Découvertes shop and café, providing a warm, airy atmosphere with multiple reading spaces that encourage browsing and cultural exchange.
Alexia Benakis presents her work and discusses the themes and creative processes behind her writing. Through a short presentation and exchange with the audience, she examines narrative choices, character development and the cultural contexts that inform her stories. The session includes a reading excerpt and a signing, offering insight into Benakis’s research, influences and artistic approach. Participants can ask questions and engage directly with the author.
