Musée du Pays-d’Enhaut is a regional folk museum and centre for Swiss paper cutting in Château-d’Œx (Vaud). Founded in 1922, it presents permanent and temporary exhibitions of silhouettes, decoupage and rural artefacts across multiple period rooms. The museum documents local alpine life, crafts and traditions and preserves an important collection of paper-cutting artworks.
This exhibition celebrates the artistry of Michel Mottier, a craftsman from the Pays-d’Enhaut who carves each wooden cream spoon with patience and precision. Discover around a hundred unique handcrafted spoons, each reflecting his remarkable skill and dedication to this singular passion.
