The exhibition organized by the Centre de la Photographie at the Maison de l’enfance et de l’adolescence (HUG), in collaboration with the Fondation Convergences, showcases the photographic project by Sabine Hess & Nicolas Polli, titled “One Bed, Two Blankets, Seventy-Six Rules”. This humorous and intimate work, which began at the Verzasca Fotofestival and further developed at the Biennale Images Vevey 2024, delves into couplehood through texts and artworks highlighting their shared challenges and growth.
The Fondation Convergences invites all ages to a free afternoon of urban art, dance, quirky bikes, and hands-on workshops at the Maison de l’enfance et de l’adolescence. From tape art and breakdance to recycled music and plant mosaics, the event offers a playful and creative way to kick off the school year. With dance shows, short films from Latin America, exhibitions, and food stands, it’s a festive gathering open to everyone.
Our mental health remains a part of us that we still don’t speak about so easily. In an era of ‘therapists’ and ‘coaches’ who accompany our lives, what do we think about our moods and inner states? The comedian Constance speaks candidly about her struggles with mental health, with the necessary perspective to laugh about it openly. Along the way, she invites us to reflect on our connections with madness and mental well-being.
Constance will perform her latest show, aptly titled ‘Inconstance’. There will be a discussion after the performance.
This conference is part of the series “Ces liens qui unissent, enchaînent et libèrent” hosted by the Société Médicale de Genève.
