Les Caves Versoix

The Caves site consists of a small performance hall that can accommodate between 80 and 120 people depending on the room’s configuration, as well as an independent bar/lounge area that can accommodate about fifty people. The artistic programming of the venue is managed by the Cultural Service of the City of Versoix, in collaboration with individuals and associations from Versoix.

Listen to Greek myths told aloud by actress and poet Katerina Apostolopoulou, who shares episodes from the Artemis serial with projected illustrations from the books. The performance invites families to follow short, vivid tales full of color, rhythm and gentle drama. Children can imagine characters, hear poetic language and share the moment together across generations.

Formed in Geneva in early 2012, Schyzofisch is a rock quartet that blends American-rooted rock energy with occasional progressive twists. The band’s lineup—vocals, guitar, bass and drums—delivers driving rhythms, soaring riffs and dynamic shifts that move between raw power and intricate passages. Their repertoire mixes English and French lyrics, pairing muscular grooves with moments of melodic introspection to create a restless, expressive live experience.

Born in Sardinia, pianist Emanuelle Meloni trained at the conservatories of Cagliari and Rome and completed advanced studies in performance and pedagogy at the Haute école de musique de Genève. Her artistic development, shaped by masters and a close artistic rapport with Bruno Mezzena, informs her nuanced repertoire and expressive touch. A prizewinner in numerous competitions, she appears regularly as a soloist and balances concert activity with dedicated piano teaching in the Geneva region.

What Aleph Said, a Lausanne-based instrumental rock band, blends post-rock, progressive rock and post-metal into expansive, emotionally charged compositions. Their cinematic arrangements build from delicate textures to powerful climaxes, driven by layered guitars and nuanced dynamics. Having shared stages with influences such as God Is An Astronaut, Oh Hiroshima, Toundra, Leech and Villagers of Ioannina City, the group prepares to release its third studio album, Nowness, continuing the trajectory of Aeonia (2021) and Aulasy (2024).

Founded in 2006, the Geneva Outa-no-kai Japanese choir presents a broad repertoire of Japanese songs, from traditional folk tunes to contemporary J-pop. Characterised by close harmonies and attentive phrasing, the ensemble explores the colours and rhythms of Japanese vocal music while adapting pieces for a community choir setting. Through collaborative performances at cultural events, the group seeks to connect audiences with the richness of Japanese melodies and vocal tradition.

Formed in Lausanne in 2020 during the pandemic, Morning Tape is a five-piece collective of seasoned, passionate musicians. Their eclectic, dynamic repertoire draws on funk, soul and jazz, blending tight grooves, warm horns and rhythmic drive to captivate listeners. The ensemble favors energetic arrangements that dissolve stylistic boundaries, focusing on deep pocket, interplay and soulful solos. Expect a rich, danceable sound that privileges groove, colour and live spontaneity.
