La MACO association, founded in 2019, brings together various Geneva-based organizations in a shared space located in the industrial zone of Charmilles. By providing a multifunctional facility, La MACO promotes collaboration and innovation among its members, supporting cultural production and community engagement. The space occasionally hosts events such as workshops, talks, and performances, fostering a vibrant creative atmosphere.
KESKONFABRIK offers a day of creative workshops focused on upcycling textiles, paper, wood, and furniture. Guided by professionals, these sessions explore techniques for repurposing materials to breathe new life into objects. Designed to be both friendly and family-oriented, the event seeks to raise awareness about the circular economy. The day wraps up with a concert or performance, creating an enjoyable and engaging experience for all ages.
