The library of the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is one of the three most important botanical science libraries in the world. It houses a prestigious collection capable of satisfying the research needs of international specialists, as well as the curiosity of laypeople. With more than 120,000 volumes and 4,400 scientific journals, the library of the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens (CJB) contains almost all scientific books and journals published in the fields of plant taxonomy and global floristics.
Every month, the Botanical Garden showcases a treasure from its collections through an audio commentary, accessible both at the library and on social media. These gems, which include engravings, rare books, objects, or archival letters, are enriched with insights from a librarian or archivist.
