Through an intimate duet, Cédric and Safi lead a walking investigation into Berlin’s so-called “African quarter”, tracing grassroots campaigns to rename streets that celebrate colonial figures in favour of anticolonial resistance. Mixing personal stories and public histories, the piece interrogates how colonial memory shapes everyday urban space and explores collective strategies for reclaiming narrative agency. The staging combines documentary fragments, testimony and participatory exchange, inviting audiences to reflect and to imagine concrete acts of remembrance.
