Metaphysical Walks – Pierre Montant

Pierre Montant presents a series of paintings exploring the uncanny within everyday surroundings. Through patient observation and a careful pictorial process, seemingly banal images become spectral and gradually give rise to canvases that probe mystery and enigma. The works oscillate between recognition and suggestion, evoking obsession, memory and metaphysical wandering. The exhibition considers how painting unveils hidden presences in the quotidian and how slow, repetitive attention can transform fleeting perceptions into sustained visual inquiry.
