An exhibition of Ernest Pignon-Ernest presenting the artist’s rigorous figurative practice. Elected to the Académie des beaux-arts in 2021, Pignon-Ernest was a precursor of street art in the 1960s. His work combines technical mastery with ethical commitment, producing striking images and portraits. The presentation brings together pieces that address abortion, exclusion, AIDS and migration, and highlights his long-standing dialogue with poetry and social questions.
