Julien Spiewak & Dow Wasiksiri – Crossroads

Crossroads presents photographers Julien Spiewak and Dow Wasiksiri, who blend their artistic practices to reassess the connections between East and West, as well as past and present. Their work delves into the enduring influence of history as a living entity in our everyday lives. Through staging, insertion, and rephotography, they foster a dialogue between inherited imagery and the contemporary body, encouraging us to inhabit, claim, and transform our perception of the world.

The pieces, which include paintings, drawings, photographs, objects, and sculptures, are organized into themed sections within Villa Bernasconi. In conjunction, Anaïs Wenger offers walking tours that juxtapose Lancy landscape paintings with their contemporary surroundings.

30 October – 20 December

Sarah Benslimane, winner of the Manor Cultural Prize 2025, takes over the Palais de l’Athénée with a major exhibition. A French-Algerian artist based in Geneva, she creates paintings and sculptures that mirror the flow of images and stories from the digital age. The exhibition, produced in collaboration with the Société des Arts of Geneva, is housed in the Crosnier and Saint-Ours rooms. A monograph will accompany this project.

17 September – 7 March

In Soft Gravity, Domum delves into the materiality and sensuality of forms through a multitude of contemporary voices in design and creation. Imagined as a sensitive constellation, the exhibition showcases suspended, fleshy, and sculptural shapes that intertwine. It invites visitors to an experience that balances between fragility and strength, memory and presence.

6 November – 13 December

In “Yuku & Sakura,” Ladina Gaudenz celebrates nature and renewal with delicate, luminous cherry blossoms. Her pieces blend the ephemeral beauty with a sense of contemplation, revealing enchanting cherry trees on raw linen canvas.

Opening during the Art en Vieille-Ville collective vernissage on Thursday, November 6, from 16:00 to 21:00.

13 November – 9 January

Wilde, a contemporary art gallery established in Geneva in 2015, stands out on the Swiss and international art scene. It offers a diverse program highlighting both established and emerging artists.
