The screening of the film “Riccy” by Mildred Tejada will be followed by a panel discussion on gender violence at the Cinémas du Grütli. “Riccy” draws inspiration from the murder of Riccy Mabel Martínez in Honduras during the 1990s, which has become a symbol of violence against women. This discussion, in collaboration with Eirene Suisse and the Office for the Promotion of Equality and Prevention of Violence, will explore the scope and impact of gender-based violence. This event is initiated by Agenda 21 – Sustainable City of Geneva as part of the November 25th Campaign.
