FILMAR: Screening – La misteriosa mirada del flamenco

The FILMAR festival presents three screenings of “La misteriosa mirada del flamenco” by Diego Céspedes at Cinémas du Grütli, in collaboration with Agenda 21 – Equality and Diversity division. This fiction film, shot across Chile, Germany, Belgium, Spain, and France, unfolds the tale of Lidia, an 11-year-old girl living in a mining village in northern Chile in 1982. As a mysterious illness spreads, rumors suggest it is transmitted through a look between two men who love each other. Her brother, who is gay and marginalized, is accused of being a carrier, prompting Lidia to uncover the truth behind the superstitions.
