Renowned illustrator and director Raman Djafari is an honored guest at the Animatou festival, serving as a jury member and competing in the international section. During the Illustration Lunchtime Series at HEAD-Genève, he will showcase his unique work, blending 2D illustrations with 3D elements, celebrated for its dreamlike gentleness. Djafari has crafted music videos for international artists like Coldplay and Elton John & Dua Lipa.

The Geneva Debate Club, founded in 2022 as an English-language branch of the Club Genevois de Débat, meets every Thursday evening to provide a structured platform for practicing eloquence and critical thinking. Participants propose diverse topics, are randomly assigned pro or con positions, and engage in timed debates with interactive questioning periods.

With no participation obligation—observers welcome—evenings conclude with voting for the most convincing team and best speaker, followed by friendly bar discussions, creating an inclusive environment for developing debate skills in English.

Every Thursday evening at 18:15 during the university semester.

As part of the Séminaire énergie-environnement 2025-2026: Opportunités et défis pour la transition énergétique, this public lecture by Dominik Born explores the concept of Nanoverbund, a heat network solution where conventional heat networks are not feasible.

The series addresses the challenges and opportunities of the energy transition in Switzerland and Europe, where policies aim to reduce reliance on fossil and nuclear energy while increasing renewable sources. Attendees will gain insights into technological, industrial, and policy aspects of sustainable energy systems, followed by a discussion with the audience.
