Co-organized by the Library of Geneva and the Digital Humanities Chair at the University of Geneva, this event highlights the city’s cultural history. Join Planet C, an immersive collective game at the Maison de l’Avenir, designed to explore human obstacles in addressing climate challenges. With a group of 5 to 20 participants led by a facilitator, you’ll guide the development of a territory and gain insights for ecological transition. Based on extensive research in ecology and resource management, this game helps participants identify hurdles and devise strategies to overcome them, encouraging collective learning and action. Planet C is supported by a collective of 50 researchers from France and Switzerland, led by Leafic, an EPFZ spin-off.

The Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève and La Cité Bleue join forces for an evening celebrating the release of artist Paolo Colombo’s book, “The Second Time”. The event kicks off with a panel discussion featuring Paolo Colombo, Andrea Bellini, Leonardo García-Alarcón, and Muriel Brandt, exploring the historical connections between the two institutions and Colombo’s artistic practice. Following the discussion, a rebetiko concert by Theodora Athanassiou and Alexandros Kentris will highlight this Greek musical heritage. The evening will conclude with a bar and book signings by Paolo Colombo.

For the 10th session in the 10th year of the “Rendez-vous d’artistes” project, artists Serval and Kalonji will host a hands-on workshop in collaboration with Caran d’Ache. Over two hours, they will share their artistic techniques with participants.

Tom K Kemp presents “The Fifth Fire,” a live-action role-playing game (LARP) where the element of fire is on strike, halting all combustion. Participants take on the roles of human negotiators, engaging in dialogue with fire to address the crisis. The game is open and adaptable, evolving based on players’ interactions and decisions, reshaping the narrative with each session. This workshop is part of the “Side Quest for the Real” exhibition and explores innovative forms of contribution, inclusion, and collective reflection. It is accessible to all and requires no prior experience in role-playing games.
