International Biodiversity Day

Free, registration required

To celebrate International Biodiversity Day, Geneva will host an event focusing on the findings of two significant IPBES reports published in 2024. The discussions will revolve around the Nexus Report, which explores the interconnections between biodiversity, water, food, and health, and the Transformative Change Report, which examines the root causes of biodiversity loss and the need for transformative shifts. Key experts and authors will share insights on the role of Geneva’s multilateral institutions in tackling environmental challenges and rising inequalities. The event will take place at the Palais des Nations and requires prior registration.
