Caribana began in 1989 as a casual lakeside music party organized by a group of friends who loved music, sunshine, and cocktails. Its tropical, free-spirited vibe quickly became central to its identity. Over the years, the festival expanded—adding a second stage and blues music in 1997, along with shuttle services.
