Dive into the Zoé Archives with…

Join writer and artist Jérémie Gindre for an exploration of the living archives of Zoé Editions, housed at the Bibliothèque de Genève. Delve into 50 years of Swiss literary history through manuscripts, drafts, correspondences, and digital documents. Gindre will offer his insights on these materials, connecting them to the themes of geography, history, folklore, and tourism that he investigates in his work. This event is free and open to the public, made possible in partnership with RTS Archives and Interrail.

The stained glass collections of the Musée Ariana are coming out of storage! When the museum was bequeathed to the City of Geneva in 1890, Gustave Revilliod had acquired 118 stained glass pieces. Today, the museum boasts over 400 pieces, spanning from the 12th to the 21st century. The fifth installment of the “The Ariana Unveils Its Reserves” series showcases an exceptional selection of this heritage.

20 May – 1 October

A fascinating off-site exhibition by the Martin Bodmer Foundation traces the evolving history of medicine through 15 striking plates from rare texts. Curated by Jacques Berchtold and Yoann Givry, this journey through centuries of scientific thought is hosted at the University of Geneva’s Medical Center and enriched with QR-coded commentaries.

ABSTRAKTIONEN / ABSTRAÇÕES brings together diverse approaches to abstraction across two generations and continents. From Traugott Spiess’s meditative gestures to Niura Bellavinha’s layered color fields, Herbert Sobral’s playful contrasts, Fernando De La Rocque’s dreamlike structures, and Antonio Bokel’s geometric compositions rooted in street art, the exhibition traces a century of abstract practices. A visual journey through spontaneity, memory, language, and public space.
