“Memory is like the sound that continues to reverberate after the sound has faded.”
Adèle Rosenfeld, a French author with hearing loss, invites participants to explore sound sensations through writing in this workshop. Attendees will learn how to capture and transcribe past and present sounds, creating a poetic sound herbarium. Starting with a memory, the workshop encourages capturing the ephemeral and preserving it through writing. Adèle Rosenfeld is the author of Les méduses n’ont pas d’oreilles (Grasset, 2022) and L’Herbier imaginaire (Le Dé rouge, 2023).
