In this Extramundana workshop led by Magali Bossi — writer, musician, and cultural mediator — you’ll explore writing from inside the skin, shell, or senses of your non-human, humanoid, or hybrid characters. Inspired by ethology, zoology, and science-fantasy literature, Bossi will guide you to reinvent point of view, experiment with new perceptions, and create stories inhabited by strange, powerful, and vibrant voices.

Designed for Deaf and hard-of-hearing participants using French Sign Language, the workshop explores alternative modes of perception through the collaborative creation of experimental prosthetics and sensory technologies. By blending art, engineering, and lived experience, the event invites participants to rethink what it means to listen, feel, and sense—beyond the boundaries of so-called “normal” bodies.
To celebrate the 56th anniversary of the first moon landing, CERN is hosting the STELLAR science festival. This event offers the chance to meet astronauts, Nobel laureates, and renowned scientists, delving into how astrophysics and particle physics impact fields such as healthcare, climate modeling, and natural disaster management. The festival includes live music and hands-on activities suitable for all ages. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from several Nobel Prize winners and astronauts, with some participating remotely. Organized by IUPAP, the Swiss Physical Society, the University of Geneva, and CERN, STELLAR is part of the 2025 International Cosmic Ray Conference. The Museum of the Undesirables, located in front of the central staircase at Geneva’s MAH, is hosting a series of workshops where participants will convert non-functional electrical devices into micro-gardens using local plants.
