The Feminist Collective, the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Initiative, and the Gender Centre invite participants to a screening of The Shadow Pandemic, a documentary by Paola Ghislieri that exposes the scale of domestic violence against women in Switzerland, intensified during COVID-19 and often described as a “shadow pandemic.” Through expert insights and survivor testimonies, the film highlights both the gravity of the crisis and the systems supporting victims. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with specialists in domestic violence, offering an opportunity to learn, reflect, and stand in solidarity with survivors while promoting a safer and more equitable community.
