Sorelle: Women Composers of the Italian Baroque

The Summer Concerts at Saint-Germain offer a journey through the centuries every Sunday and Monday with internationally acclaimed artists. The performance “Sorelle” brings to life the baroque paintings of Artemisia Gentileschi, reimagined by singers performing works of contemporary composers from her era. Accompanied by a lute, the show delves into Gentileschi’s themes and questions artistic creation. The featured artists include Fiona Fauchois, Steve Bergeron, Lucas Bédécarrax, Oscar Sajous, Bénédicte Bézault, and Célia Legentil. Free entry, with a collection.
