One Shot is the final creation of choreographer Ousmane Sy, a vibrant, all-female dance performance blending house dance with styles like krump, popping, flamenco, and contemporary dance. This energetic and modern piece celebrates individuality and collective expression, challenging clichés of femininity and showcasing the power of sorority. Set to a dynamic mix of house and afrobeat music by DJ Yugson, the performance delivers a contagious energy and a powerful tribute to group unity.

The Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, conducted by Jonathan Nott, welcomes cellist Nadège Rochat to perform works by Marie Jaëll and Igor Stravinsky. The program features Marie Jaëll’s “Cello Concerto” and Stravinsky’s ballet “Petrushka.” Marie Jaëll, a prolific 19th-century pianist and composer, is being rediscovered for her significant contributions to French music. “Petrushka,” premiered in 1911, stands as another masterpiece in the orchestral repertoire.

For his debut creation with the Ballet of the Grand Théâtre de Genève, Damien Jalet presents “Mirage,” in collaboration with visual artist Kohei Nawa. Drawing inspiration from mirages and fata morgana, this piece delves into humanity’s existential quest through unpredictable transformations, intertwining mythology, climatology, and Japanese theatrical techniques. With music by Thomas Bangalter and costumes by Kunihiko Morinaga, “Mirage” offers a hallucinatory and sensual journey beyond mere appearances.

A mother makes gnocchi for her filmmaker son who is creating a documentary about her. In the intertwined spaces of the kitchen and living room, their stories and timelines blend, crafting a theatrical magic within the apartment. This immersive performance will take place in various apartments, with locations shared upon ticket purchase.
