Choreographed by Jasmine Morand and performed by the Prototype Status company, MIRKIDS is a mesmerizing dance performance designed for young audiences. Set within a circular stage, eight dancers lie on the floor, their movements reflected in a large overhead mirror to create a living kaleidoscope of shifting shapes and colors. This immersive experience invites children to lie down and gaze upward, as the dancers’ synchronized motions form ever-changing patterns reminiscent of flowers, animals, and abstract forms. Blending dance, visual art, and contemplative wonder, MIRKIDS offers a unique journey into the imagination.
