Small, Medium, Large is a poetic and visual performance by the Tian Gombau theater company that follows the journey of a little boy who, after putting on new shoes, heads to the river for a snack. Along the way, he discovers the world around him—streets, houses, landscapes, people, and animals. As his shoes accumulate experiences and adventures, he grows, and the size of his shoes symbolizes not only the passage of time but also personal growth and the journey through life. Drawing inspiration from a tradition in the Mediterranean village of Vinaròs, the show takes an initiatory journey of learning, discoveries, and a connection with nature. Aimed at both children and adults, this performance invites audiences to share in a new, universal experience of exploration and personal growth.
Founded in 1992, the Tian Gombau company has performed in over 47 countries and won numerous awards, creating magical, poetic performances that convey messages of tolerance and humanity.
