For 25 years, Eblis Álvarez, a producer from Bogotá, has been transforming Colombia’s musical heritage. With his band Meridian Brothers, he blends cumbia, champeta, soukous, and psychedelic rock. In their album “Mi Latinoamérica Sufre,” they delve into electric guitar within a tropical setting, paying tribute to a variety of Afro-Caribbean genres.
