The MEG, in partnership with the Afropea Cultural Center, presents a program connected to the “Afrosonica – Soundscapes” exhibition. Nayansaku Mufwankolo delivers a poetic reading focused on care, delving into the Egyptian Zār and its modern practices with Mahmoud Khattab. Maïlé Kalokura Médécine guides participants through sacred songs, offering a collective ritual that blends intuitive singing, incantations, and healing instruments like the drum and harmonium. This unique session merges the sharing of ancestral knowledge with the therapeutic experience of singing, aiming to awaken, heal, and harmonize the body, heart, and mind.
