Brazilian artist and performer Mayara Yamada introduces Marara Kelly, her vibrant alter ego, in a series of four shows. She weaves a unique mythology infused with the essence of the Brazilian Amazon, blending movement, sound, and performance. This final chapter takes audiences on a multisensory journey led by Marara Kelly as the captain of a fleet of hammocks, guiding them towards an imaginative vision of herself.
The Geneva Chamber Orchestra presents “Around the World in Dances,” a musical journey with works by Bartók, Stravinsky, and Bernstein. Japanese conductor Seiji Ozawa established an academy in 2004 focusing on string quartets, bringing together 20 young soloists annually. Led by Kazuki Yamada, the Seiji Ozawa International Academy Switzerland is dedicated to nurturing the talents of the future.

The Summer Concerts at the Ella Fitzgerald Stage in La Grange Park present a diverse lineup of free concerts for everyone. The Montreux Jazz Festival takes place for two weeks every summer in Switzerland, on the shores of Lake Geneva. Created in 1967 by Claude Nobs and directed by Mathieu Jaton since 2013, the Montreux Jazz Festival has become over the years an essential event, generating fantastic stories and legendary performances.
In its 50 years history, Montreux has hosted iconic performances by artists including Nina Simone, Miles Davis, Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Marvin Gaye, Prince, Leonard Cohen, David Bowie, Elton John and Stevie Wonder. Deep Purple and Prince even helped to write the legend of the place in their songs, while David Bowie and Freddie Mercury came to live in the region and record albums.
