What to Do with Dindon by Georges Feydeau in 2025?
Maryse Estier and Clémence Longy, behind this adaptation, explore how Feydeau’s portrayal of intense passions reveals a paradoxical human savagery that still triggers laughter and reflection.
Maryse Estier trained at the Geneva Conservatory and the National Theater of Nice, later studying directing at ENSATT in Lyon. She has worked with directors like Pascal Rambert and Alain Françon, and founded Cie Jordils. Notable works include Lampedusa Beach (2018) and La Dernière Nuit de Don Juan (2024). She won the 2024 Prix d’Encouragement from the Académie des Beaux-Arts.
Clémence Longy graduated from the Sorbonne with a Master’s in Modern Literature before training at ENSATT. She founded the company Les Non Alignés, now La Maison Sœur. She has acted in various TNP productions and directed projects like La Papesse (2025) and Sophonibe (2022).
Le Dindon will be showing March 4 to 23 at the Théâtre de Carouge.
