The play “Les cinq roses de Jennifer” explores the solitude and struggle of an individual against dominant discourse. It tells the story of Jennifer, a romantically inclined femminiello, who awaits the eagerly anticipated call from Franco after an unforgettable night together. Each day, she dedicates a song to him while living under the threat of a serial killer targeting transvestites in her 1980s Naples neighborhood.
