Lecture with Thomas Huonker

Historian Thomas Huonker, an expert on the persecution of Romani communities in Switzerland, is giving a talk on Switzerland’s policies towards the Romani people during the Nazi era. Despite its neutral stance, Switzerland actively oppressed Roma, Sinti, and Yenish populations during World War II. This talk highlights a frequently overlooked chapter in Swiss history and its collaboration with fascist regimes in Europe.
