The Conservatoire Populaire presents a performance based on the story of Candelas, a young Andalusian gypsy betrayed by her lover, featuring an adaptation of works by Manuel De Falla and Maria Lejàrraga. Guitar instructors Cécile Renzi-Pacoureau and Elodie Redon, joined by Maude Georges, offer an arrangement for two guitars and narrated vocals. The first part of the show delves into the origins of the work, with a performance by students and dance segments created by contemporary choreographer Emmanuelle Gouiard.
