Job, le procès de Dieu

A a powerful new sacred music drama that wrestles with timeless questions: Why suffering? Why evil? And what remains when even God falls silent? Drawing from the Book of Job, composer Michel Petrossian and director Anaïs de Courson craft a haunting, contemporary work that blends chamber opera, biblical poetry, and echoes of modern conflict. Performed by soloists, choir, and an orchestra featuring baroque, contemporary, and traditional instruments (qanoun, théorbo, accordion…), this world premiere invites audiences into an immersive, multi-sensory reflection on pain, resilience, and the mystery of faith.
