Gli Angeli Genève, under the direction of Stephan MacLeod, will perform a selection of pieces by Haydn, Mysliveček, and Mozart. The program features the Overture from Armide, Symphony No. 35, Octet No. 3, along with Mozart’s Bassoon Concerto KV 191 and his Horn Concerto No. 2 KV 417. The concert will be introduced by Philippe Albèra, with Philippe Miqueu featured on bassoon.
Castelet is not dead, by Compagnie Arnica, presents three sharp and surreal futuristic tales that explore the strange paths human evolution might take. With AI-powered puppets like i-Guignol, a controlling robot named Poto, and a mutation dealer called Elon L’Ultrabright, the show hilariously questions our relationships with technology, identity, and transformation. Written by Gwendoline Soublin, known for her punk spirit and biting humor, this bold puppet performance revives the anarchic soul of traditional guignol while confronting today’s ethical dilemmas — all in a lively castelet set up outdoors.

Habib Meftah and Rouzbeh Esfand introduce their musical project Shibaali at the Alhambra, blending electronic dance music with the sounds from southern Iran. Renowned percussionist Habib draws inspiration from Bushehr’s rich cultural diversity, while Rouzbeh infuses his expertise in both Western and Iranian music. The concert will be kicked off with a DJ set by Ralph.
This ensemble piece, part of the trilogy “In Praise of Vulnerability,” offers a playful and queer interpretation of the character of Satan, reimagining him as a feminist liberator challenging divine tyranny. Blending humor and sacrilege, the performance aligns Satan with the traits of a bimbo, symbolizing a bold and provocative reclaiming of the body.

ClassiCosy invites you to a special evening dedicated to Amy Beach, an American composer whose work is relatively unknown in Geneva. Known for her eclectic style as both a pianist and composer, Amy Beach made a significant impact in her time with pieces such as the Grand Mass, Gaelic Symphony, and a piano concerto. This event offers an opportunity to explore her early vocal works and her trio opus 150, highlighting her journey towards artistic maturity.
The Brass Band des Savoie and the Ensemble Vocal Orphée, led by William Thébaudeau-Müller and Matthieu Schweyer, will perform Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana” at Victoria Hall. Featuring Karine Mkrtchyan (soprano), Sacha Michon (baritone), and the Thoiry Children’s Choir under the direction of Anne Seigneur, this event promises an exceptional musical evening.
MiASiN! is an all-female group comprising five musicians from Turkey, Armenia, and France. In 2023, they embarked on a road trip from Yerevan through Turkey. They share instruments and repertoires as a common heritage of humanity, embodying the essence of MiASiN!. The concert is supported by the Ateliers d’Ethnomusicologie, AMR, the City of Geneva, and the South Cultural Fund.
