Led by pianist Jacques Covo, this quartet pays tribute to the golden age of 1930s boogie and blues. Joined by Jean‑Marie Peyrin (saxophone), Antoine Robert (double bass) and Laetitia Narel (drums), the group revisits standards such as Pinetop’s Boogie, Honky Tonk Train and St. Louis Blues with fire and elegance. Influenced by masters Albert Ammons, Pete Johnson and Meade “Lux” Lewis, the ensemble delivers a swinging, incandescent piano-driven sound that is both generous and irresistibly danceable, radiating warmth and joy.
