The Ensemble Vortex presents an extraordinary concert featuring four distinct works. Polish composer Monika Szpyrka will debut a new piece. The program also includes Fernando Garnero’s “Contraccolpo,” a dynamic composition for two hybrid instruments, Daniel Zea’s “The Love Letters?” which incorporates facial recognition algorithms alongside two performers, and Arturo Corrales’s “Alfaque Rojo,” inspired by the tides and the metal sounds of Meshuggah. Each piece uniquely explores the interaction between acoustic instruments and technology.
