The International Horse Show of Geneva, a prominent sporting event in Switzerland, is set to take place at Palexpo. This 64th edition will gather the world’s top riders and drivers on the largest indoor track for prestigious competitions such as the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping, Indoor Cross, and the World Cup Driving. Named the best show in the world in 2019, the CHI Geneva draws around 48,000 spectators over five days, supported by the dedication of 700 enthusiastic volunteers.

Relive the 17th-century daily life with over 2,000 participants donned in period costumes. Experience parades featuring fifes, drums, musketeers, and horsemen through the streets of the old town, beautifully lit by torchbearers at night. Enjoy food stalls, mulled wine, and local products. Note that some activities are dependent on weather conditions.

Official opening with the tribute procession to the victims starting at 18:25, musket salutes from the Cathedral, wreath-laying at key symbolic sites, and a commemorative route through the Old Town.
Saturday, December 13
A full day of historical festivities with weapons demonstrations, musket fire, military camps, blacksmithing, cavalry displays, guided tours, performances at Maison Tavel, children’s activities, concerts, and fanfares. In the evening, the lantern parade, open to all, departs at 19:45 towards Cour Saint-Pierre.
Sunday, December 14
The main highlight is the Grand Historic Procession from 17:00 to 19:30. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy military demonstrations, concerts, heritage tours, family activities, and official ceremonies across Bourg-de-Four, the Cathedral, and Cour Saint-Pierre.
