A theatrical adaptation of Plato’s “The Republic,” directed by José Lillo, delves into the timeless themes of governance and justice. The play enjoyed a triumphant first run in 2022, filling the Pitoëff Theatre to capacity and performing to sold-out audiences, fueled by strong word-of-mouth. The cast includes Jean-Alexandre Blanchet, Felipe Castro, and other talents. Supported by the City of Geneva, this production invites audiences to reflect anew on Plato’s insights into the perils of power concentration and unchecked profit.

The village lights up for three days of winter magic: local artisans, seasonal treats, concerts, family-friendly animations, and creative workshops for all ages. A warm, festive escape to stroll, shop for unique gifts, and soak up the holiday spirit in the heart of Veyrier.

The 133rd edition of Geneva’s iconic satirical show, La Revue Genevoise 2025, takes place at the Casino-Théâtre before its renovation. Dansehabile presents “Kora” at the MEG auditorium, complementing the Afrosonica exhibition. This inclusive performance blends contemporary dance with hip-hop, highlighting collaboration between dancers with and without disabilities. Established in 2001, the organization aims to promote cultural and social projects, fostering connections through art and movement. The show draws inspiration from the West African kora instrument, delving into storytelling through body, music, and words. Choreographed by Maroussia Ehrnrooth, with dancers and musicians, “Kora” offers a journey through both past and present.
