Founded in 1975 by Marlyse Pietri, Éditions Zoé has grown alongside the countercultures of the 1960s, focusing on contemporary and heritage literature. The house publishes works from French-speaking Switzerland, France, and translations from German, English, Italian, and Romansh.
For its anniversary, Caroline Coutau will highlight the editorial journey, celebrating award-winning works, adaptations, and the expanding team. Bruno Pellegrino (writer and publisher) and Anne-Sophie Subilia (author) will explore key works, including Le hibou et la baleine by Nicolas Bouvier and the complete works of Gustave Roud, showcasing the house’s evolving impact on literature.
