Better Trolls – Jana Romanova

“Better Trolls” is an immersive dark comedy that delves into human influence and value within an Internet landscape increasingly controlled by machines. Participants take on the role of employees at a human-run e-reputation agency, fighting to demonstrate their worth before being replaced by more efficient AI bots. Through absurd meetings aimed at crafting viral campaigns, the game explores moral dilemmas, questioning the lengths we go to in order to keep our jobs, and the effects of manipulation on ourselves. This participatory workshop, open to everyone, prompts a collective reflection on the tactics used by trolls and the dynamics of modern influence. It is part of the exhibition Side Quest for the Real.
