Bee Classical #2 – The Ernest Trio / Matteo Gualandi

The Ernest Trio is extending its collaboration with the Geneva Haute école de Musique by spotlighting contemporary works, including a commission from composer Matteo Gualandi. Their chamber music series, Bee Classical, offers the Trio the opportunity to perform with renowned musicians and support emerging talent. The program features compositions by Mozart, Trimble, Gualandi, and Ravel.

Gli Angeli Genève, under the direction of Stephan MacLeod, will perform a selection of pieces by Haydn, Mysliveček, and Mozart. In its 14th edition, the festival explores the theme of Eros and Thanatos, the tension between the drive for life and death. Featuring internationally and nationally acclaimed artists like lutenist Thomas Dunford, the Ensemble Sequenza 9.3 choir, and pianist Jean-Marc Luisada, the performances promise to be eclectic and captivating. Primarily held at the Alhambra, with some concerts at the Temple de la Madeleine.

13 & 14 June

Musique en Chêne celebrates the arrival of the warm season at Place Favre with two days of concerts and gatherings, featuring music of all styles and flavors. On Saturday, visitors can also enjoy a record fair, along with food stalls on site.

12 – 15 June 2025

This immersive performance sees Gilliot poetically transforming the space with caustic wit and digressive virtuosity. Ordinary observations are turned into extraordinary realities as the master of ceremonies crafts a unique experience blending descriptions, anecdotes, deep thoughts, and songs—all without leaving the audience’s seats.
