Artists Rendez-vous: 10 Years Already… Implementation

For the 10th session in the 10th year of the “Rendez-vous d’artistes” project, artists Serval and Kalonji will host a hands-on workshop in collaboration with Caran d’Ache. Over two hours, they will share their artistic techniques with participants.

Embark on a poetic and visual journey through a century of photography, spotlighting both celebrated masters and lesser-known photographers. The gallery showcases works by iconic figures such as Man Ray, Robert Doisneau, František Drtikol, Pierre Boucher, and Fred Boissonnas, alongside images from forgotten artists. From street scenes and surreal experiments to poetic compositions, the exhibition is a confluence of diverse styles that enhance and enrich one another.

Opening during the Art en Vieille-Ville collective vernissage on Thursday, November 6, from 16:00 to 21:00.

30 October – 20 December

Sarah Benslimane, winner of the Manor Cultural Prize 2025, takes over the Palais de l’Athénée with a major exhibition. A French-Algerian artist based in Geneva, she creates paintings and sculptures that mirror the flow of images and stories from the digital age. The exhibition, produced in collaboration with the Société des Arts of Geneva, is housed in the Crosnier and Saint-Ours rooms. A monograph will accompany this project.

10 September – 11 January

Apocalypses. What Did You See in Hiroshima? is a powerful exhibition curated by Nicolas Crispini, exploring the devastation and legacy of the atomic bombings through testimonies, photographs, films, objects, and soundscapes. From survivor accounts to cultural echoes and traces of nuclear tests, it confronts the enduring threat of nuclear apocalypse and asks whether humanity has truly grasped the magnitude of Hiroshima.

Guided tours organsied every Sunday, 11:00 & 13:00.

5 November – 20 December

Xippas Gallery in Geneva is hosting, for the first time, a solo exhibition dedicated to the Uruguayan artist José Gamarra. The anthological exhibition, Whispers in the Forest, spans fifty years of his work and presents an exceptional selection of paintings and drawings, curated by Manuel Neves
