The Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève presents “Rituals of Care”, the first solo exhibition in Europe by Brazilian artist Antonio Obá. Born in Ceilândia and living in Brasilia, Obá explores the influence and contradictions of Brazilian cultural construction, using historical and religious icons to reflect on national, racial, and political identity. His works include sculptures, paintings, installations, and performances, focusing on the body and questioning the eroticization of the black male body. The exhibition is supported by Mendes Wood DM and Flux Laboratory.
