The lo.me collective presents “Max Pounder,” a performance exploring the enduring nature of play through the physical body and stage design. In this space where rules are continuously renegotiated, the ground transforms into both a playground and a projection canvas. The performance pits the body against various elements, seeking its place, stumbling, and devising new strategies. Drawing inspiration from sports and genre cinema, this creation is part of the exhibition “Side Quest for the Real,” which also features performances, films, conversations, and tours to further explore the concept of play.
