Blending theatre and music, Quentin Teixeira reimagines Nordic folklore in a moving tale about the power of imagination. Alone on stage, he brilliantly embodies a host of characters, while the Lemanic Modern Ensemble performs Grieg’s famous music live. Peer, a young boy searching for his lost mother, encounters trolls, healers, and the starry sky in an adventure that is both joyful and deeply human, offering solace in loss and rekindling the light of hope.

Get ready for an enchanting evening filled with Afrobeats, 70s Funk, and Disco Soul! Peter Solo and Vaudou Game unveil “Fintou,” their fifth album drawing inspiration from Colombian cumbia. This project blends enigmatic sounds with vintage Afro-funk, adding a cumbia twist for a truly unique experience. The tracks, driven by guitars, percussion, brass, and keyboards, deliver political and ecological messages with humor. Let yourself be carried away by this groovy, activist trance, and share the experience on your feet.

The Biopark is temporarily hosting Janus, a unique two-headed Greek tortoise, during the renovation of the Museum. Each head of this male tortoise has its own independent brain, which sometimes makes its movements challenging. In captivity, Janus receives attentive care, resulting in an impressive lifespan of 26 years.

4 – 16 November

At La Parfumerie, Serge Martin presents a unique dialogue between Diogenes and the Joker. Diogenes, sometimes appearing as a hologram, highlights life’s essentials while the Joker entertains the audience. Together, they critique modern cynicism and assert that life should overcome. This subversive and humorous performance explores themes such as simplicity, sexual freedom, gender equality, pacifism, and the rejection of money. Featuring José Lillo and Serge Martin on stage, the production uses holograms and meticulous staging to create an immersive experience.

16 September – 14 December

The ASL is marking its 45th anniversary with the immersive exhibition “Léman, l’éveil d’un peuple” (Léman, the Awakening of a People). This exhibition chronicles the fierce battle to rescue Lake Geneva from suffocation between the 1960s and 2000, driven by the collective efforts of associations, scientists, fishermen, journalists, and institutions. It offers a journey filled with documents and personal accounts, reminding visitors of the power of individual action in protecting the lake. The event features a variety of activities suitable for all ages, including fun missions for children, conferences, and guided tours. It also highlights the lake’s current challenges and encourages active engagement in its preservation.
